Aveson was founded by the Aveson Design Team, which consists of committed individuals with outstanding business and education experience. Educational experts and culinary arts specialists with a proven track record of success have framed the curriculum, instructional practices, and policies to shape the School of Leaders as a premier educational experience. The Aveson design team also includes notable leaders in the business community and social entrepreneurs who understand the fiscal, operational, and structural discipline required to succeed in this endeavor.

Kate Bean, founder of Aveson, holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration as well as a California Administrative Credential. Kate is the Executive Director of the Aveson Charter School in Pasadena. Kate's previous work in K-12 education includes nationwide sales, consulting, and training. Kate has owned and operated Life in the Balance, a personal and business coaching enterprise. She also worked as a district manager for three years in the financial services industry. Combining her passions as an educator, entrepreneur and mother of two daughters, Kate has formulated the core idea of the Aveson model over the past four years. Her leadership role at the Aveson Center is to ensure the coherent vision, realization, quality, and expansion of the Aveson model.

Steve Regur is an educational consultant and founder of the Aveson model and consulting division. Steve holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and an administrative credential. He began his career teaching in both public and private schools in San Antonio, Texas. Steve then worked as a sales manager and instructor in Tokyo. Steve then worked as a program manager for a national peer review program for teachers and principals. He then moved to California and worked as director of school accountability and reporting, developing his expertise in analyzing student achievement data, developing systems to monitor instructional practices, and prioritizing school budgets. He then founded his own company, Choice of Action, LLC, in 2004. Since then, he has helped public schools raise more than 3.2 million dollars in grant. He helped design the Aveson model which integrates educational consulting with instructional program management for schools. His leadership role at the Aveson is to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Aveson model.

Amy McCammon is an Educational Consultant and co-founder of Aveson. She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Technology and an administrative credential. For the past eight years, Amy has been an Educational Consultant/Strategy Coach for a California based and a National Reform provider where she presented programs in professional development, coaching, research based strategies, instructional technology and technical training for teachers and students in over 200 Schools, grades K-12. Amy has also effectively worked as a company liaison with Third Party Evaluators, evaluating grants and programs, researching best practices in education, and gathering data for the purpose of proving evidence of program effectiveness for the Los Angeles Unified School District and several other school districts throughout California. She developed the Module 3 Instructional Technology component of AB 75 Principal's Training and collaborated on several educational Senate and Assembly Bill initiates. Her role at the Aveson is to provide leadership and support in all areas of Instructional Technology.

Lowell Bernstein is a teacher, caterer, educational consultant, and co-founder of Aveson, who brings years of educational experience and practice to the Aveson team. Lowell holds an administrative credential and is currently completing an M.M. in Organizational Management. Lowell has worked nationally as well as internationally in Latin America in a wide variety of capacities including bilingual classroom teacher, professional development trainer, program director, as well as the proprietor of his own catering company, and a creative cooking program for elementary age students. Lowell is one of the key members in the design and creation, and implementation of the culinary arts center, and the synthesized curriculum that ties it to students' educational experience.
