AglA dress code requirements
No pajamas.
No spaghetti straps, midriffs, halter tops, tank tops, or other revealing tops.
Tops may not be worn off the shoulders.
Leggings may only be worn under shorts or skirts of appropriate length as described below. Leggings may not be worn by themselves as a lower body garment.
Appropriate length: Shorts/skorts/and skirts must extend past the end of the middle finger when arms and hands are draped and fully extended at the side. Shorts and long pants must remain at the waist, with or without a belt, and may not reveal undergarments or skin at the waist or the midriff.
Ripped and torn clothing is not appropriate for school use. No ripped and/or torn jeans, pants, shorts, shirts or sweatshirts are permitted.
Hats and individual bags and purses are permitted.
No drug paraphernalia, sexual content, foul or inappropriate language, gang related insignias or pictures, or innuendo are allowed on hats, bags, shoes or clothing.
Undergarments are not to be seen.
No flip-flops or slippers. Sandals with complete ankle straps are permitted.
PE Uniform Policy:
Athletic shorts or sweats
Plain t-shirt
Athletic shoes
Violation of the dress code will result in immediate in-school suspension until the violation is corrected or a parent/guardian brings a change of clothing or checks the student out of school for the day.
Refusal to correct the violation will be considered defiance and the student will be suspended for one academic day.
